The Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Women Veterans (CWV) is promoting this summit to be held August 25-26 at the Hyatt Regency Houston in Houston, TX. The focus will be on the issues and needs of women Veterans; training, information and guidance will be provided on navigating the VA and community resources.
The summit will offer lectures, discussion panels, an exhibit hall and an open forum. The intention of the summit is “promote forward-thinking dialogue and innovative collaboration among private industry, nonprofit organizations, the federal government, innovators, researchers, caregivers, and women Veterans” according to the Department of Affairs VAntage Blog.
Attendees can participate in breakout sessions focused on employment, mental health, entrepreneurship, military sexual trauma, reproductive health, culture change and more.
